The Shoot Brief

Seven shots, in order. Match the frame, then the line.

  1. 01

Suspicious photo + reaction. Slow motion.

    Hook

Start with a strong hook. Hold the tablet closer to the camera so viewers can clearly see the suspicious photo (the one where you can see someone in the background who looks like they're pushing/following the girl). React emotionally, like "OMG, look at this!" The first few seconds should immediately make people curious about what happened.

  2. 02

    Investigation Board

    TV

Then switch to the TV. Please film it closer than in your current videos and make sure the screen is sharp and clear, not blurry. Open the Investigation Board and show the missing girl.

  3. 03

    Suspicious chats

    Messages

After that, show some of the most suspicious Instagram messages on the TV. They should be close and clear enough for viewers to actually see them. Then switch briefly to the tablet and scroll through the suspicious chat for a couple of seconds.

  4. 04

    Slow motion

    Board

Switch back to the Investigation Board on the TV and make it emotional, point at one of the suspicious people as if you've just realized they might be involved. Slow motion!

  5. 05

    Can speed up a bit

    Map

Then show the map. Film this part from behind so we can see both you and the TV clearly, and point to the location where you think the girl disappeared. Make sure the lighting is good enough to clearly see both you and the screen. Can speed up a bit.

  6. 06

    Better to speed up

    Voice messages

After that, use a pov shot with the tablet and open the voice messages. They must be visible on both the tablet and the TV. Just show this for a few seconds as if you're quickly going through and listening to them. Better to speed up.

  7. 07

    Slow motion

    Reveal

For the final shot, film from behind again with both you and the TV visible. This should feel like the big reveal, like you've finally figured out who kidnapped her. Point at the person on the screen and react emotionally, like "OMG, I found him!" It's good to make in slow motion.
